Job Description

Enterprise Sales Directors are responsible for driving the sales process from discovery to close, actively prospecting their territory for new business and contributing to the overall advancement of company revenue goals. The right candidate will be an energetic person with passion and an innate drive to excel at any task. They will have 5+ years of sales experience that includes solution sales in a SaaS environment (or equivalent experience in the Political/Nonprofit space). Enterprise Sales Directors must operate proactively and be deeply committed to our vision of serving the world’s leaders. At NationBuilder we create software for leaders. We work with political candidates and parties, nonprofit organizations, community organizers, and anyone else trying to make something happen in the world. Our customers come in all shapes and sizes, from small-town organizers trying to win their school board election to the largest political parties, candidates, and NGOs in the world.   • Exceed 100% of assigned, quarterly sales quota
  • Execute sales process through discovery, solution/demo, pricing, negotiation, and close
  • Build and maintain pipeline of 4x quarterly quota
  • Lead generation through target account prospecting, outbound cold calling/emailing, and other sales/marketing activities
  • Strategically prospect for new business daily - leveraging sales tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Persist IQ and your own self taught resources
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, consultants and technology partners within assigned territory
  • Record prospecting and meeting activities in NationBuilder’s CRM
  • Accurately forecast new business in weekly sales meetings
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the NationBuilder product and value proposition
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of NationBuilder’s sales process
  • Mentors other team members and demonstrates leadership through example
To be successful in the role, you’ll have:
  • 5+ years of sales experience that includes in a SaaS space.
  • Previous experience using a CRM and other sales prospecting tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Rigorous attention to detail
  • High Motivation; can work in a rapidly growing company and industry
  • Reflective listening skills with customers and the ability to structure solutions based on those reflections
  • The ability to communicate the value of NationBuilder’s product & value prop in a clear and succinct manner
  • Strong self-starter who is a team player but can also work independently
  • Passion for the NationBuilder mission
  • Experience in the political, non-profit, or advocacy space is a plus
