Role Overview
The Marketing Communications Specialist works within Mavenlink’s Marketing Communications team to help develop and implement communications strategies for our company. The position will take ownership on several key initiatives, including social media strategy and campaign coordination, as well as collaborating with others in the marketing organization to help power our content marketing engine, build stronger relationships with influencers, buyers, and job candidates; ensure brand consistency, coordination of messages, and maintain the highest standards for our communications programs. Job Responsibilities - Plan and implement social media programs that drive continuous growth in engagement and increase brand awareness, prospect preference, generate leads, and sales
- Build and foster communities targeting buyers, influencers, partners, employees, etc.
- Plan, capture, and promote customer and #mavenlife moments through social channels
- Propose ways to leverage new and existing content across multi-channel programs that seamlessly integrate Mavenlink channels and audiences
- Monitor, measure, analyze, and report on social media content/sentiment and projects; make recommendations to optimize and improve performance.
- Investigate emerging interactive and social media technologies and best practices and provide recommendations for potential projects/initiatives
- Maintain marketing calendar and design schedules in Mavenlink for marketing projects
- Work with outside vendors and designers
- Assist the marketing team with the execution of programs and campaigns to ensure projects timelines are met
Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in marketing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding project management and organizational skills
- Detail orientation
- Skilled in the use of social media marketing practices and applications
- Skills using G-Suite or Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and deadlines with experience managing projects from inception to completion
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or related field
