Job Description

As an intern, you will support HubSpot's marketing team for Germany, Austria and Switzerland - based in our brand new Berlin office. You will work with HubSpot's marketing software and optimize content on our blog, blog.hubspot.de , and our website for better findability, readability and higher conversion rates. In addition, you will create content for our social media channels. Our team in Berlin will work closely with you to develop a framework for your work.

Some of the leading content experts work at HubSpot and will help you grow as a marketer. An internship at HubSpot is an opportunity to gain a lot of marketing knowledge in a short time since you will be exposed to so many different projects.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in German and English
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or masters degree program (this is a student internship opportunity)
  • Availability to work in a full-time capacity in Berlin, Germany for 6 months starting in Spring 2020
  • Thoughtfully written CV including links to your social media (LinkedIn & Twitter) presence
  • Links to writing samples and blog (or even any relevant college project work!)

In this role you’ll get to work on:

  • Social media planning: HubSpot DACH manages accounts on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and more. You'll work off existing plans and suggest ways to further increase our reach and performance.
  • Content optimisation: Optimisation impacts not only the traffic but also lead generation. You'll identify opportunities for featured snippets, optimize content, links and images for search engines and implement new templates for our existing content.
  • Content management: Our localisation team and content creators will provide you with lots of content. Working with the HubSpot Content Optimisation System, you'll prepare this content for being published on our blog and website.
  • Quality assurance: While working on the projects above, you'll find content that might be outdated or worth updating or redirecting. You'll learn what to do and when to further improve our website experience.

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have a basic knowledge of online marketing, inbound marketing, SEO and social media.
  • Are hard-working and well-organized
  • Have great attention to detail

You don't necessarily have to be familiar with all mentioned concepts yet. HubSpot's certifications can help you gain knowledge on these topics: https://academy.hubspot.com/certification-overview

Confidence can sometimes hold us back from applying for a job. But we'll let you in on a secret: there's no such thing as a 'perfect' candidate. HubSpot is a place where everyone can grow. So however you identify and whatever background you bring with you, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come into work every day.
