DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYYou will be an integral part on the Investor Relations (IR) team assisting in the planning, development, and implementation of a variety of investor relations programs and activities. Working under the guidance of the Vice President, Investor Relations, you will serve as a resource to senior management to ensure the Company effectively communicates its message with investors and other key stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Educate and update investors and analysts:
- Collaborate with senior management and IR team to create investment messaging integrated and consistent with strategic goals of the company.
- Communicate with shareholders to keep them knowledgeable about the company.
- Prepare conference call scripts and frequently asked questions/answers.
- Support the investors’ decision-making processes by coordinating and attending, when needed, meetings with company leaders and visits to company facilities.
- Develop and execute semi-annual company-sponsored analyst meetings, including selection of site location, presentation materials, speaker preparation and coordination, facility tours, product demonstrations and analyst attendance.
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to senior management regarding reaction to events and special developments. Understand and communicate reasons for changes in stock ownership on a timely basis.
- Find, support, and encourage prospective investors by broadening awareness and interest through conferences, presentations, meetings and media.
- Use targeting methodology and intelligence systems to identify good-fit institutional investors.

- Contract for and maintain relationships with capital markets and intelligence system resources in support of the IR program
Create or assist in creating publications and media used in the IR program, typically in conjunction with company’s communications staff:
- Annual report: execute theme, content, design, production, and delivery.
- Quarterly results and other news releases.
- Create and maintain company presentations for use at analyst and investor meetings.
- Periodic updates of the outlook for the quarter and or year results: collaborates with senior management and IR team.
- Execute audio and video webcasts, usually in conjunction with conference calls and investment conference presentations.
- Oversee and support IR website section and content.
Lead own professional and career development:
- Remain current on economic, political, regulatory, industry, and stock market outlook.
- Understand the company’s strategies, operating units, technologies, and financial performance expectations.
- Remain current on company operations.
- Contribute to and learn from company meetings.
- Remain current on changes in accounting, technology, and similar subjects.
- Manage IR analyst, support training and development, goals, performance, and compensation.
- Provide financial and analytical support to key senior management to support the company’s IR initiatives.
- Prepare timely and insightful analysis of the company’s businesses, markets, competition and financial performance. Benchmark company performance with peer group companies.
- Collaborates with the IR team on the continuous upgrade of technology services to benefit IR goals.
- Create and manage annual IR operating budget.

The individual should have the ability to participate in spirited give-and-take discussions about his or her work. - Position will have exposure to senior management, including CEO, CFO, CAO, EVP’s, Group Executives, Danaher company Presidents.Key external relationships: Institutional investors (including security analysts, portfolio managers and directors of research), individual investors, and business and financial media.
