The Americas Cash Accounting team has the responsibility to ensure that treasury bank accounts are accurately reflecting bank balances, FX gain/loss bookings impact Profit & Loss timely. Interest accruals for InterCompany Loans, Cash Pool and Line of Credits are properly calculated and accrued impacting right accounting period due to the large balances that are managed on this process.

The Financial Analyst supporting Americas Cash Accounting process ensures all treasury related transactions are accurately and timely booked in HP ́s books.

Applies basic foundation of a function's principles, theories and concepts to assignments of limited scope. Uses professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Treasury bank accounts account reconciliations based to ensure bank matches Lighthouse (SAP) and Treasury Management System.
• Perform IC loan, Cash Pool and Line of Credit interest calculation and proper booking/Accrual in Lighthouse (SAP).
• Perform IC Loan, Cash Pool and line of Credit account reconciliations in CERT, as per AFM guidelines.
• Monitor and clear balances sitting in Cash clearing accounts to the proper offset account.

Education and Experience Required:

• First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
• Typically 0+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
• Bank portal management

Knowledge and Skills:

• Good understanding of accounting processes.
• Basic analytical skills.
• Good business application skills (Microsoft Excel and SAP).
• SharePoint Management, Power BI, SQL, Macros desirable
• Good English and Spanish communication skills.
• Good teamwork skills.
