Perficient currently has a career opportunity for an Associate DevOps Consultant in our Livonia, MI, office.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the DevOps team and Senior DevOps manager to test system integrity
• Build and test automation scripts
• Handle code deployments in all environments
• Monitor metrics and develop ways to improve
• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improvement development delivery
• Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
• Document and design various processes; update existing processes
• Improve infrastructure development and application development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field
• Experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations
• Experience in CI and CD tools
• Experience with Linux infrastructures, database SQL (MS SQL, and shell scripting
• Experience with Apache or Python or LAMP or nginx
• Scripting experience such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET, Selenium, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe
• Knowledge of current technologies, application software development, Agile and iterative development methodologies
• Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Flexible to new situations and challenges
