The District Project Coordinator is expected to work with Directors, District Project Managers and Data Services to provide support to our School Districts. The Project Coordinator will help maintain and monitor project plans and project schedules ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.

The District Team has recently implemented project-wide use of Smartsheet capabilities to manage projects, information, documentation and document sharing. Working with the District Team to manage projects and monitor progress will require detailed knowledge of how to fully leverage Smartsheet and ideally, Smartsheet Certification. Specification requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Manage all project documentation using Smartsheet (client specific) and Microsoft Office
  • Create and manage project plans, Quality Assurance (QA) documents and Program Dashboards in Smartsheet
  • Create advanced Smartsheet repoting
  • Create and manage Smartsheet workflows
  • Create and manage advanced Smartsheet formulas that push and pull information from many Smartsheets or other data sources
  • Advanced knowledge of Power Query
  • Load QTI for various customers as new or updated content becomes available; capability of reading errors from the System Log
  • Executed QA on specified DCT sites using QA documents
  • Assist in maintaining communication across customer sites, creating and updating widgets and manually compiling information about customers
  • Assisting sales directors in preparing price quotes and/or maintaining Master Client Smartsheet
  • Generate customer facing reports and/or pivot tables to organize large data sources such as Usage Reports

Responsibilities for a large customer where the Project Coordinator will be allocated at least half-time:

  • Advanced knowledge of Schoolnet; regular in depth site testing capabilities will be required multiple times a year to test hot fixes and upgrades
  • In Schoolnet demonstrate capabilities specific to assessment creation, QA, scheduling assessments, answer sheets generation, reporting
  • Create and Manage power query tables for scanning numbers capture and reporting

Qualifications

  • Ideally, a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably with a concentration in instructional technology, computer science, information technology or related area; or, equivalent work experienced may be considered.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the information technology field.

Additional Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Experience with supporting K-12 education student systems or other browser-based computer applications. - Familiarity with trouble-shooting application problems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with superior listening skills.
  • Team-oriented and willing to take initiative when necessary.
  • Thorough knowledge of the principles and techniques of computer applications and documentation.
