About the Role:

The CRM Marketing Analyst will be responsible for executing and reporting on customer and prospect facing marketing communications. The candidate will help define the company's audience targeting strategy, testing methodology, and measurement of marketing effectiveness. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the development of tools, processes, and frameworks to further best practices and deliver operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have experience running CRM marketing campaigns (ex. email) and programs. Audience segmentation, targeting and campaign deployment, developing test and learn plans should come naturally to the. These concepts should be understood both at the individual campaign level as well as extended longitudinal marketing efforts.

The candidate should be data-driven and have a technical aptitude to partner with business and technology teams and will assist in optimizing business processes and managing campaign operations to maximize efficiencies and incorporate new technology and new data. The candidate will be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, capable of dealing with ambiguity, and comfortable working with teams, vendors, and management.


Responsibilities:

  • Actively monitor email campaign performance, including conversion and response metrics (sends, opens, click-to-open, etc.) with benchmark to other historical campaigns.
  • Supplement campaign metrics with additional demographic, geographic and behavioral insights.
  • Analyze performance of email test variants.
  • Update core KPI reports with metrics such as the email channel’s incremental revenue.
  • Leverage SQL database to conduct more in-depth demographic and user behaviors to inform future audience targeting
  • Maintain and create dashboards with email metrics and core KPI data (activations, active users, etc.)
  • Conduct special project analyses for Product Marketing, Public Relations, Email Marketing, and other internal Fitbit teams utilizing data to generate insights
  • Produce menu of targeting criteria for marketing channels including Social, Digital, etc.
  • Work with Email Campaign, Engineering and Operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve any data/campaign issues

Skillset required:

  • Medium to advanced SQL proficiency.
    • Must be able to design complicated subqueriesagainst large database
    • Must be able to decipher another analyst’s code and modify quickly
  • Must have managed direct reports previously, may include interns/contractors/vendors
  • At least 3 years of professional work experience
  • Proficient in data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableauto design and maintain dashboards
  • Construct business KPIs by exploring the data, determine anomalies/exceptions in the data
  • Experience working with business stakeholders to bridge the gap between the data and the business use cases
  • Nice to have: experience with Python and former experience with email marketing
