Pricing Specialist – Commercial Operations (contract)

Los Angeles, CA

This position is for a temporary engagement through our staffing partner Yoh.

You will be part of a Pricing Team responsible for administering pricing operations by ensuring the accurate and timely pricing for all content on the global PlayStation Video service.

The Pricing Specialist will build a thorough understanding of existing pricing strategies, and employ new strategies that continue to adapt to the ever-changing market. In this role, much of the day-to-day will involve operationally implementing pricing to ensure tight deadlines are met. This role also will require liaising with the Content Operations, Marketing, Royalties, and Content Acquisitions teams to improve workflows and resolve pricing issues as they arise.

Skills and Requirements:

• Meticulous attention to detail
• Experience hitting tight deadlines
• Keen ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality/discretion
• 0-2 years’ experience in a fast-paced corporate environment, preferably in the digital distribution industry
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Experience with standard BI tools (MicroStrategy, Hyperion, Cognos, etc.) a plus
• Must have demonstrated success in problem-solving and generating solutions
• Exceptional attitude with a high level of initiative and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
