Rocket is hiring a Salesforce Developer. This candidate is a member of the Business Applications Team and is responsible for creating extensions to the Salesforce CRM application and develop integrations with other related business systems.

Responsibilities:

• Deep knowledge of APEX and Visual Force coding and best practices.
• Deep knowledge of the SFDC database model.
• Create and manage complex workflow rules and system triggers.
• Good knowledge of bidirectional data integration using SOAP-based and REST-based web services.
• Experience using Canvas and integrating customized remote applications into SFDC.
• Experience with developing Salesforce Communities and Sites.
• Work independently & on multiple projects against deadlines in a dynamic environment where consistently producing deliverables within agreed upon timelines is expected.
• Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of professional experience developing on the Force.com platform (Enterprise edition or higher)
• Experience with data management and data cleaning
• Expertise to Salesforce.com proprietary technologies: Visual Force and Apex code
• Expertise in HTML/XHTML, XML, Javascript, AJAX, Java, Python, SOAP-based web services, Apex, SQL and SOQL
• Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and approaches
• Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases , data modeling, database concepts and data management
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field of study
• com Certified Force.com Advanced Developer is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Experience working within both a team environment and independently
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
