Returns Merchandising Associate to assist in the day to day of our Operations department. We're looking for talented, hardworking, individuals who can grow with the company and contribute to our unique team culture. A basic understanding of the fashion landscape is a plus. You may not be a fashion expert, but you have a general sense for the domain, and can get up to speed very quickly. This role reports directly to the Returns Merchandising Managers.
You Will:
- Evaluate items for price, description thoroughness and accuracy of image documentation and item details in accordance with Tradesy Return policy
- Determine items for acceptance into the Tradesy In-House closets
- Create new high-quality listings for items kept
- Accurately and attractively describe items, to ensure a quick sell-through and low return rate
- Maintain established speed and quality standards
- Clearly and thoroughly communicate findings of returns decisions and policies to Tradesy users via email
- Accurately scan items to and from locations, ensuring precise inventory tracking
- Keep up to date on unique product, brand, and trend information to improve listing quality, measured by increased sell-through and reduced discounts
You Have:
- 1-2 years of applicable experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (comfortable w/ help desk and email)
- A team player with excellent customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of high-end fashion brands and current trends
- Curiosity and interest in becoming an expert in brand knowledge and the consignment market
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Can follow structured processes but also possess critical thinking to solve problems on the spot
- Physical stamina due to the loading and unloading work required. Handling objects up to an average of 10 pounds, standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day
