About this opportunity...
We are looking for a DevOps Tooling Engineer for our expanding office in Moscow to compliment the team in the USA in creating the next generation of our SDLC platform. This team is covering various areas of software development lifecycle with latest tools and solutions to ensure robust software delivery process. We use automation to improve processes of software delivery and make development teams self-sufficient.

A few facts about the team

• Globally distributed teams: US and Moscow, Russia
• Atlassian stack as current Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Crowd, Fisheye, etc...)
• IntLand Codebeamer as future ALM
• Git as main SCM system
• Ansible is used for both configuration management and deployments
• AWS, VMware - Infrastructure. Adopting Docker right now
• Python, Bash - internal apps and tools
• 40% Windows, 60% Enterprise Linux

In this role, you will...

• Support existing software tooling stack infrastructure (Git, JIRA, Bamboo, Confluence, Fisheye, HPQC, Sonar, Incredibuild, etc.) and various custom software lifecycle support tools
• Develop tools, frameworks and automatic solutions to improve Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and overall SDLC in the company
• Provide day to day support for systems and tools in team portfolio
• Ensure internal users are leveraging provided systems and services with maximum efficiency
• Provide trainings, coach individuals and teams on modern software development approaches and corresponding tooling
• Ensure tooling stack is working robustly and configured matching internal company policies and practices

In this role, you’ll need ...

• 2+ years experience working as Software Developer, SQA Engineer, DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer
• 1+ years experience working on sysadmin level with Linux
• Strong skills in one or more programming languages; e.g. Ruby, Python, Java, Groovy, Go, Shell Scripting (Powershell, BASH)
• DVCS experience, preferably Git
• Experience working in Agile environment
• Experience with container-based technologies is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL and modern SQL databases
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• English skills: intermediate
