Operations Generalist

Job Description

We're a 20-person startup building the future of programming. Currently available for Python, Kite's smart autocompletions suggest code as developers type — similar to Gmail's Smart Compose, but for code. Kite is well-funded by top investors in Silicon Valley. Our product has been growing rapidly with wide adoption within the Python community. We’re looking for a smart and ambitious Operations Generalist to support and enhance our team’s efforts. This role spans recruiting, marketing, and office management. We're imagining this role may grow into business development and sales functions as well. Our Operations Associate role is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start their career at an early-stage startup. No recruiting or marketing experience? Don't worry, we'll teach you.

(60%) Own a large portion of recruiting operations and processes:

• Reaching out and communicating with candidates within our ATS, Lever
• Managing our applicant pipeline
• Collaborating with hiring managers about specific candidates and team needs
• Coordinating candidate interviews throughout the funnel (initial call, technical screen, onsite interview, offer)
• Scoping and executing on special recruiting projects -- we’re always experimenting with new ideas and processes

(25%) Support the marketing team with user acquisition efforts:

• Running the Kite twitter, facebook, and linkedin pages
• Supporting content creation for our growing YouTube channel
• Helping the engineering team write engaging content about Kite and our tech stack

(15%) Manage Kite HQ:

• Work with our porter to stock food and drinks
• Keep the office organized
• Plan team meals, outings, and happy hours
