Your Role and Responsibilities : For project delivering new BI solution for energy distribution segment BI Data Engineer is needed. In scope of the project is delivery of

• EDW solution – three-layer setup – Stage, Target, Access Layer
• Analytic layer – SPSS, iLog, IFE
• Big Data component – Hadoop solution – Hortonworks distribution

The BI Data Engineer is responsible for development of ETL processes, interfaces agreements for inbound and outbound flows, design and develop mappings to Atomic and Dimensional model. Develop DataMart’s and reports in Cognos
The BI Data Engineer is responsible for working closely with other technical resources and leaders on the overall BI solution build on IBM Infosphere Information Enterprise Server.
Candidates should be capable of working independently to design new ETL loads and mappings derived from the client unique requirements, DataMart’s and reports in Cognos
The candidate should also be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization and have proven expertise in performing ETL jobs development, mappings and understanding of data modeling in BI area.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in BI area
- At least 1-2 years of experience with IBM InfoSphere Information Enterprise Server
- Beneficial but not mandatory experience with reporting tools (like SAP BO, QlikView, Cognos
- Good understanding of Data lifecycle / Data management and ETL jobs
- Willingness to learn new technologies, be flexible and open minded, results oriented towards highest levels of customer satisfaction
- Able to work effectively in a global, multi-cultural environment
- Czech/Slovak language is must due to contract requirements
- At least one certification for Application development
