Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our four major business lines include Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, and Wells Fargo Commercial Capital. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.

Accountable for the successful management of the BBG customer life cycle and ensuring BBG is compliant with Wholesale risk requirements

  • Design and manage sustainable new Quarterly Exit Review process for BBG
  • Build, publish and manage processes and procedures in partnership with key Line of Business contacts
  • Drive the design and implementation of strategies and associated processes specific to Portfolio Risk Management Office (PRMO) initiatives
  • Manage and facilitate PRMO related communications and training
  • Partner with Transfer Governance team; accountable for application and adherence to BSA/AML standards on customer transfers
  • Other job duties, as assigned

Account Management and Controls:

  • Overseeing effective process and controls around the end of life cycle of Wells Fargo relationship
  • Drive optimization and execution of Treasury Management and Deposit closures while minimizing reputation and operational risk to the bank
  • Oversight of account review, letter development and all execution activities related to the off boarding process.
  • Pro-actively manage and solve scenarios and issues that arise to ensure accurate and timely closures
  • Communicate with various levels of leadership across multiple lines of business
  • Ensure team is meeting all required deadlines
  • Process Development and Enhancement:
  • Develops standardized system of effectively monitoring and executing off boarding process for all lines of business
  • Identifies areas of opportunity and executes ongoing process efficiency enhancements
  • Develops and enhances internal procedures, as required.

Relationship Engagement and Management:

  • Partnering with Merchant Services, Small Business Lending and Credit Management Group numerous activities
  • Serves as key liaison with all of PRMO’s cross-functional partners
  • Ensure that any changes to process and procedures are effectively communicated to internal partners, including relationship managers (as applicable)
  • Supports cross functional initiatives, as need

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite, and all risk and compliance program requirements.


Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • Commercial Banking, Financial Crimes background, Corner Stone application
  • Deposit and Treasury Management product expertise
  • Ability to partner across different operations areas within Treasury Management and outside of Treasury Management
  • Knowledge of Hogan/SVP
