Chief Decision Management Officer CDMO (Director- C15)

The Chief Decision Management Officer is an integral member of the portfolio’s leadership team and the Partner Analytics Office (PAO), and is responsible for providing best in class analytics, insights, and strategies to cater Customer behavior, wants, and needs. Along with the Partner Manager and Chief Marketing Officer, the individual identifies investment and growth opportunities that maximize the Customer’s utility of our products, as well as optimizes strategies, maximizing the ROI. Additionally, the individual is a key member of the team that interacts directly with the Partner to provide consumer insights that only Citi Retail Services can.

CDMO's will leverage the PAO centralized teams to develop pricing, modeling, segmentation, and reporting tools that are leveraged to optimize significant investments and deliver industry leading retail and payment insights. Additionally, along with his/her peers, provides thought leadership to a global analytics community that constantly strives to be at the cutting edge of decision sciences, leveraging one of the largest data assets in the world, in the quest to understanding the needs and wants of our Customers and Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the Partner and Customers.
  • Through data & analytics, know & predict Customer lifecycle, behavior, wants, and needs.
  • Provide analytics, insights, and Customer strategies to marketing and product functions to create best in class propositions and offers that make Citi number one to our Customers and partners.
  • Provide market leading analytics to help retail partner gain market share against competitors.
  • Optimize marketing and product investments to drive meaningful growth.
  • Leverage centralized teams to develop and customize analytic tools that are used by CDMO teams to drive meaningful sales & revenue.
  • Identify Customer needs and pain points through analytics and work with product, marketing, and operations to implement respective solutions.
  • Leverage Partner Analytics Office to optimize field team, identify / share / implement growth best practices, and growth in digital channel usage for both sales and servicing.
  • Provide thought leadership, along with other CDMOs, to make analytics community a career destination for top talent.
  • Be an integral part of a team of CDMO’s that promote data based decisioning and strategies across Citi Retail Services.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related work experience required, with significant cross- functional business experience.
  • Strong ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams in order to drive optimal business solutions through collaboration.
  • Prior senior-level position managing an analytics related functional area within Risk or Decision Management
  • Financial services experience in analytic role is required. Private Label Credit experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required (i.e., Statistics, Mathematics, Sciences, or Engineering). MS/MBA preferred.
  • Strong track record of leadership experience, including setting strategies, selection & development of talent, organizational design and establishment of effective working relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills targeting a variety of audiences.
  • Excellent problem solving skills to proactively address business questions with innovative data driven solutions.
  • Ability to lead and execute business initiatives.
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible and adaptive to matrix work environment.
  • Strong project management skills to focus on multiple key priorities and drive impactful business solutions in a fast paced working environment.
  • In-depth understanding of P&L statement and key drivers is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required. Knowledge and experience of analytic tools (i.e. SAS, SQL, regression, segmentation, decision tree, simulation etc.).
