Network Security Technical Marketing

What You'll Do

Cisco’s Security Business Group designs, builds, and delivers market-leading security products that form the foundation of Cisco’s innovative security architecture. The Business Group's Technical Marketing Engineering Advisory team is responsible for NGFW, NGIPS and Security Management.

The role of Program Manager NetSec Technical Marketing is to execute project management skill sets and methodologies to address long and short-term opportunities, project assignments and project closure to impact and improve the business though:

- Assisting in all project management cycles, including capturing data and critical project information, quantitative and qualitative analysis, forecast trends, identify risks and issues and work toward innovation and operational excellence

- Identifying process gaps and process implementation planning

- Supporting and further build change management processes

- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide innovative solutions to optimize internal and external processes, policies, protocols, and tools that will enable the best cost, quality, and delivery of Cisco products

Project management has never been more important to our organization. You'll play an integral role in the team efficiency and business success tying project results to both technical and business goals. Collaborate with Technical Marketing Engineering Team and field engineering to help build business efficiency resulting in better market positioning. You will be involved in the definition, planning, management, and delivery of various projects.

Who You Are

- Project/Program Management experience

- Basic knowledge of process control, quality metrics, project management methodology, six sigmas, etc.

- Basic knowledge of software tools are required (e.g. MSOffice, Tableau, statistics packages, etc.)

- Self-motivated and highly ambitious

- Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills and organizational abilities

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work toward long-term goals

- Relevant IT or Network Security technologies knowledge is a plus
