Job Description

Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Mid-Level Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join the 737 Shipside Support team in Renton, Washington.

As a member of the 737 Shipside Support team, you will analyze and interpret data by monitoring Shipside Action Tracker (SAT), work with other Pit Bosses and the Manufacturing Team and coordinate with all aspects of Tooling, Engineering, PCA, Supplier Management, Quality Assurance, QAI, Supplier Quality, Vendor Reps, Safety and Ergonomist in order to resolve delays to the build process.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide guidance to fellow Support Cell members and act as a liaison for managers and senior managers in order to communicate daily needs and requirements.
  • Participate and provide needed input at Pit Boss meetings, provide Daily SAT status and visibility needed to Senior Leadership.
  • Provide feedback on assessment results, monitor SAT status and follow-up to ensure accuracy of hand-off and consistency to process. You will work with other organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes by attending Shipside Support, Final Assembly, Wing’s and other support organization’s AIW’s and other Lean activities as a representative of the 737 Shipside Support organization.
  • Perform Root Cause Corrective Action projects by using the Boeing Problem Solving Model.
  • Support and participate in the Production System Support Lean Manufacturing System (LMS) in order to achieve our goals and objectives.
