To ensure our continued success in driving and growing sales of our Services business, we are looking for someone with a proven track record of success in solution or services sales, together with a sound knowledge of the Personal Computing market.

If you are our Services Sales Specialist, Government and Education, you will have an opportunity to:-

  • Collaborate with management and sales teams in share accounts to ensure seamless integration of specialist sales with other sales activities
  • Understand the industry and market segment in which key accounts are situated, and integrate this knowledge into consultative selling
  • Understand and apply program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure successful pursuit
  • Create services offerings that drive pen-rate targets, particularly in accounts with little to no services appetite
  • Identify successful campaigns and offers potentially offered in other regions and work to adapt them ready for local consumption
  • Motivate sales stakeholders of the importance and influence services can have in closing hardware deals
  • Find ways of attaching services to otherwise naked hardware deals
  • Lead and Co-develop with respective Enterprise Sales team in generating revenue for HP to an agreed target that is set bi-annually
  • Drive out of warranty service upgrades

To be successful in this role, you will need:-

  • Thorough understanding of services lifecycle and opportunity engagement
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to leverage services as part of strategic product sales
  • Sound knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner/ISV solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative in successfully driving speciality sales in accounts, prospecting, negotiating and closing deals
  • Understanding of the practical challenges that service delivery teams face and can stand up in times of need and escalation to maintain positive customer experience
  • Proven creative and lateral thinking skills
