Job Description

With direction from Design management, the Nike Graphic Designer I for the Accessories Design Studio will use their design skills to create original graphic designs that appropriately reflect Nike's design ethos and that are platform right. This designer has an outstanding foundation in the craft of design and a growing knowledge of design systems. Nike is interested in creating the new look of Modern Sport through its accessories and looks for graphic designers who exemplify a different perspective on placement, scaling and use a blend of fashion and streetwear aesthetic.

This Designer must be efficient with their time, know their way around the latest design software and tools, and is familiar with the product design and development process. They can balance multiple projects and take feedback and direction from senior team members. In addition to producing outstanding designs, they are proactive, collaborative, and want to help build our team culture.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or other relevant field.
  • 1-3 years of progressive technically sophisticated graphic design experience.
  • Proficient ability to apply and perform graphic design skills, including drawing/sketching, typography, ideation, color theory, use of texture, spacing, and scale, visual presentation development and layout that is supported by a portfolio of computer and non-computer-based creative art and graphic design.
  • Familiarity with product manufacturing and screenprinting processes, including materials, fabrics, plastics and pigments.
  • Excellent familiarity with current trends, color, and design.
  • Must have high-level computer skills, using Macintosh computer design applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment.
  • Ability to guide multiple and competing work priorities, asks, and changes.
