When your products transform the way we live and work, nothing can be left to chance. Our Test Engineering team takes charge of the testing, evaluation and validation of all our devices. We’re a team of expert engineers responsible for the development of all test cases and test tools to ensure the functionality and compatibility of our products. We’re involved in the whole testing process from preparing test and diagnostic programs to recommending changes in testing equipment procedures and designing new testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Creates test plans and test cases (including automation) based on inputs from the feature specifications
• Works with designers and technologists to determine test requirements and writes test cases, test plans and develops test tools for test projects
• Develops risk management plans based on all information available to determine technical and logistical risk to completing test activities as planned
• Manages daily execution of test plan
• Reports test execution progress and issues to the engineering team, and manages the issues from creation to closure
• Works with Development to resolve product issues discovered during test
• Develop and Executes test automation scripts, Identifies opportunities for increased use of test automation

Essential Requirements

• Typically requires 3-5+ yrs. of relevant experience in Network Hardware & Firmware / Server Hardware / Systems Management / Testing domain with a Bachelors degree; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent experience.
• Hands on experience with setting up – PCI, HBA, CNA, Memory, Processor, NIC, Mother board, Power supply, Network connections, hard drives.
• Tested Network Card Firmware, Drivers, and Management Utilities
• Must be having experience in integration of Ethernet, Fibre Channel, Infiniband, OmniPath and accelerator solutions for servers.
• Hands-on & working expertise in FC, FCoE, iSCSI, Virtualization, SDN, Single Root I/O Virtualization, RDMA over Converged Ethernet, LACP, NPAR/NPAR-EP, VXLAN, NVGRE etc..
• Qualification: B.E./B. Tech. or M.E./M. Tech/M.C.A
• Able to easily achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems
• Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets
• Proficient in writing test automation scripts
• Understanding of Server/Network hardware and its components
• Understanding of embedded software/firmwares, drivers.
