PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
S/4 UX, the unit that drives the next generation user experience of SAP’s flagship ERP product S/4HANA, is looking for a UX Designer to join our new team in Brno.
Established in SAP Labs Czech Republic in 2016, we are developers, designers, quality engineers and product managers who work together to build innovative SAP Fiori apps as well as extend the technology platform itself. The team is responsible for delivery of financial applications mainly.
As a UX Designer you will be conducting user research, prototype application solutions and conduct usability testing with our customers.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
• Ideate, create, and iteratively improve user interfaces for our business products
• Create low-fidelity wireframes and high-fidelity interactive prototypes
• Shape a consistent visual language for our end users that draws on a clear visual hierarchy, typography, iconography, and color scheme
• Conduct a user research with customers and product managers to understand user’s needs and behavior for the industries in which they work
• Actively drive visual design improvements during the concept and design process and ensure the best possible implementation
• Work closely with visual and concept designers, developers and product managers to bring the designs to life while maintaining best UX practices

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required
• Basic knowledge of prototyping tools, e.g. Balsamiq, Axure
• Good written and verbal communications skills in English
• Experience with planning and conducting both quantitative and qualitative user research at all stages of product development cycle
• Ability to comprehend and master complex contexts and transforming them into interactive prototypes
• Basic experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch etc.
• Be passionate about all UX related topics and other areas of design and innovation.
Beneficial
• University degree in User Interface Design or a related field is a plus
• Enterprise software design experience is a definite plus
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript are a plus
• Experience in print design, layouting, typography is a plus
• Experience in Design Thinking and user-centered design processes and projects is a definite plus
• Experience with financial processes and software
