Sales Operations Specialist

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for providing reporting and analysis for the respective sales teams to drive growth for the business. This position will work closely with Sales team and play a critical role in operational reporting processes and KPIs for sales management for all projects arriving through the sales pipeline.

The scope of work to be performed by the Sales Operations Specialist, will consist of, but is not limited to, the following

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Critical Tasks

Forecasting

  • Weekly forecast reports
  • Daily forecast reports in Q end.
  • Work closely with sales team and sales leaders on data update.

Pipeline Management

  • Work closely with team to assist with funnel management and ensure data accuracy

Deal Management

  • Follow up on the key deal progress, incl. status update, quoting, and advisory on closing.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Management QBR Deck
  • Analysis per Management requirement from various angles.

Realignment

  • Work with sales management on realignment, incl. Named Account, GB rules, territory setup and mapping, system setup, etc.

Sales Ops Team support

  • Assist manger where necessary
  • Assist Ops team on data provision where necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field with at least 5 years in sales operations or sales support
  • Hands-on experience administering and developing SFDC Salesforce.com Certified Administrator is preferred
  • Strong aptitude for working with numbers and reports
  • Extensive experience with Sales reporting and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with sales people, all levels of management and experience working across multiple functional groups required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Requires a broad knowledge of the organization’s services, products, etc.
  • Requires in depth knowledge of the sales cycle
  • Must be very detail and process oriented
  • Excellent time management skills, service oriented, and self-directed
