Who we are looking for:
POSSIBLE is seeking a Senior Media Planner with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to join our Seattle team! The role of the Senior Media Planner is to be the day-to-day steward on cross-channel media initiatives (offline & online) for assigned brands, including Strategy, Planning and accurate budget control and flow of media activity. You will be required to develop and maintain a strong knowledge of their clients' business and apply their media understanding accordingly to help deliver against the clients' needs/objectives. You will work closely with the Managers in the development and communication of all media recommendations. You will also be responsible for management, oversight and priority setting for respective Associates.

This is a contract opportunity in our Seattle office. We are only seeking local candidates.
What you'll do:
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide strategic and innovative media ideas for their media recommendations
- Maintain accurate budget control and flow of media activity, and update client on timely/consistent basis
- Demonstrate strong understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals (reach/frequency)
- Demonstrate proficiency with systems/tools (Simmons/MRI, Billing – NetSuite, Competitive – Nielsen Ad Intel, Digital – ComScore, Broadcast - Strata, etc.
- Gather and analyze appropriate research to provide sound, strategic, consumer-insights driven media recommendations
- Establish collaborative, productive working relationship with implementation teams to ensure media strategies are being delivered and brand goals/client needs are being met
- Ensure proper execution of communication plans by monitoring buys/schedules Develop strong working relationship with partner agencies (where/when applicable), helping create a seamless communications process
- Demonstrate creativity and agility when problem solving
- Prepare media authorizations per approved plans/project requests
- Prepare & cascade buying specifications upon client authorizations
- Deliver POVs/position papers on key client issues and/or client opportunities
- Timely delivery of all work
- Coach and train Associates, including: Proper/effective level of delegation, Checking work for accuracy, Teaching media fundamentals and activation
- Demonstrate professional, "lead by example" management style
What you'll need:
- 3-5 years' of experience working in media strategy, media planning, media technology platforms preferably in an agency setting
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Communications, or analytical field preferred
- Demonstrate ambition by keeping abreast of industry trends through trade news, industry workshops / seminars and tracking current events
- Willingness to serve as a client facing campaign leader team member (both on the phone and in onsite client meetings)
- Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite specifically, Excel and Power Point
- Professional in all client communication, both written and verbal
- Committed to cultivating and promoting thought leadership and producing POVs for internal team, company-wide, and external client communication
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize responsibilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pace and dynamic work environment
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective use of time for both self and others; concentrates efforts on the important priorities and acts promptly
- Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency
- Self-motivated, but also can work well and contribute in a diverse team environment
- Ability to proactively organize daily tasks and prepare list of to-do’s
- Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Enthusiasm for the future of brand advertising on the web and passion for reaching new heights
- Possible willingness to travel 5%
- 4+ years of media planning and buying. Digital experience required.
- Experience planning, buying and executing dynamic digital media plans.
- Experience with third party ad serving technology
- Ability to plan and manage social media across a variety of social channels is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - Must have a knack for telling a story with data.
- Ability to analyze data and market research.
