Description: Develops and documents procedures for delivery system business operations staff for all workflows. Ensures business procedures are in compliance with mandated federal regulations. Consults with Delivery System Business Services leadership team (associate directors, directors, and executive director) and service line directors on workflow modifications to business processes and software systems (Epic, iPayment, IBM, DSBS I&E, Sapient, QuickBooks, Centricity, PICIS, OneHealthPort, ProviderOne, BSRR). Provides direct end-user support services to Delivery System business operations staff and leadership. Facilitates the introduction, acceptance, integration, and effective use of business process software and integration of quality initiatives and Lean methodology in business operations functions. Develops training curriculum, instructional materials, and provides user training.
Essential Responsibilities: Analyzes incoming change requests, approving or escalating to leadership as appropriate. Collaborates with various leaders and groups throughout Kaiser Permanente Washington's delivery system, to problem solve, test, and implement changes focused on improving business operations. Consults with delivery system leadership on workflow modifications to business processes and systems. Develops curriculum and performs training of various sizes. Develops, documents, and maintains process, procedures and tools used by business operations staff, ensuring compliance with mandated federal regulations. Facilitates the introduction, acceptance, integration, and effective use of business operations processes and tools. Leads small to mid-sized projects, and supports complex projects and programs, independently moving work forward on behalf of the project. Basic Qualifications: Experience
Minimum five (5) years of health care business operations or business process analytical experience, including experience training staff or doing presentations. Minimum two (2) years of experience in project management and/or support. Education
Bachelor's degree OR a minimum four (4) years of experience in a directly related field. High School Diploma OR General Education Development (GED) is required. License, Certification, Registration

Two (2) years data analysis experience, utilizing data to draw conclusions to provide leadership-level recommendations Two (2) years process improvement/analysis experience.
