We are looking for a highly motivated accounting professional to join our Accounting team and play a key role in our continued growth and achievement of operational excellence. The Senior Accountant on the Platform Accounting team must possess excellent accounting and operational expertise, an ability to communicate and work with various teams outside of Finance (such as Data, Payment Operations and Crypto Payments), and a desire to make a meaningful impact on a dynamic, high-growth technology company. Reporting to the Platform Accounting Manager, this position will be responsible for reconciling and analyzing platform data in the company’s financial / platform systems. This position will impact a rapidly growing organization and offers career development opportunities for the right candidate. What you'll be doing:

• Assist with the launch of new digital assets.
• Partner with Data to investigate and resolve crypto / payment exceptions timely.
• Analyze data against business drivers to identify trends / issues.
• Record journal entries and perform reconciliations of various platform digital asset and fiat accounts.
• Provide support for internal and external audits.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and procedures for all tasks.
• Support ad hoc financial information requests and analyses and other special projects as assigned.

What we look for in you:

• 5 years working in public accounting and/or in the financial services industry.
• BA/BS in Accounting/ CPA preferred.
• Top-notch organization skills and the ability to manage and multitask high volume workloads simultaneously.
• Capable of handling multiple projects in a fast paced, hyper growth environment.
• Possess excellent analytical skills (MS Excel, Google docs), business partnering, problem solving and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work well in a dynamic environment and recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent work ethic and team player.
