Pagerduty seeks a Marketing Director to define, plan and coordinate the execution of campaigns for a recently public company with a leading role in the Digital Operations category. Candidates should have a proven track record in developing marketing campaigns that support growth, pipeline generation and brand awareness globally. Given our growth rate, this opportunity requires a person with the ability to operate at strategic as well as tactical levels. The Director, Global Marketing Campaigns will partner with Product Marketing to define target audiences and messaging, with Digital Marketing and Field Marketing teams to design integrated campaigns, and with Marketing Operations to measure campaign ROI and effectiveness. Ability to partner, collaborate, and drive cross-functional alignment is key to the success of this role. This position reports into the General Manager of Growth Marketing, and represents the larger Marketing organization.

Responsibilities:

    • Define, plan and coordinate the execution of integrated B2B marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and pipeline
    • Manage + Hire the Campaigns team, setting up a high-performance team that works cross-functionally across the groups to achieve key results
    • Partner with Product Marketing to identify campaign objectives, themes, target audiences and messaging. Define the types of assets needed for the different stages of the buyer’s journey and work with product marketers to create the right assets for each campaign
    • Work with internal and/or external agencies to define compelling campaign creative that aligns with campaign themes and brand guidelines
    • Coordinate the creation and execution of global campaign plans across the Marketing organization
    • Define lead nurture programs that drive engagement, conversion and funnel velocity
    • Grow prospect database of addressable leads and ensure database cleanliness
    • Partner with Marketing Operations to actively monitor and analyze campaign performance and effectiveness. Continually optimize creative, messaging, calls-to-action and the marketing mix
    • Build reporting and communicate campaign performance on a regular basis.
    • Ensure alignment across US-based corporate marketing functions and geo marketing teams with respect to campaign plans, objectives, messaging and assets. Work closely with geo teams to make sure campaigns are truly global and work in all the key regions.

Qualifications:

    • Proven track record in developing, executing and managing integrated campaigns and programs that increase awareness and engagement
    • Knack for developing stories and content that resonate with core technical personas and generate interest in technology solutions
    • Strong depth in database marketing, including developing and segmenting lists
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You understand your audience(s) and know what to say and, more importantly, how to say it
    • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, influencing and negotiating skills
    • Strong experience delivering comprehensive marketing campaign metrics that clearly measure how content, programs and campaigns are performing
    • Experience with marketing automation, CRM, web analytics and BI platforms
    • Prior experience working with geographically distributed marketing teams to develop global campaigns
    • Understanding of a Modern B2B Buyer’s Journey
    • Track record of managing programs, time and people efficiently
