Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in managing online marketing campaigns.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Proficiency in the display ecosystem of ad networks, demand-side platforms (DSPs), first-party and third-party audience targeting and technology, online measurement, ad operations and Google display ad buying, delivery and measurement platforms.
  • Ability to think strategically and analyze the needs of clients; track record of developing strong relationships.
  • Ability to manage auction-based display campaigns across Google Marketing Platform and Google Ads for large, complex clients.
  • Effective analytical skills with the ability to see granular as well as big picture issues.
  • Developed business acumen, problem solving and project management skills.

As a Programmatic Account Strategist, you will manage a portfolio of clients with significant digital marketing business. You will be assigned to partner with one of Google’s global markets. While primarily based in India, you will work closely with our in-market Sales teams in helping these clients meet their digital marketing campaign objectives.

You are a client advocate within Google and will work with cross-functional teams to influence product development. Using your consultative skills and knowledge of the Internet, you will develop deep product expertise of Google’s products and leverage this expertise to provide exceptional client solutions in partnership with our in-market Sales teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage account growth through implementing campaign solutions, including developing campaign strategy, building campaigns and monitoring and optimizing for spend and performance to meet and exceed customer marketing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Use advanced optimization techniques and work on products across Google, Mobile and Video. Analyze trends and develop bid strategies, manage creative assets and make budget allocation decisions.
  • Identify and seize opportunities in an account. Create and support multi-product solution promotions. Collaborate with the in-market Sales team and vendors to create and drive a growth strategy.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of market and competitive environment for vertical and sub-verticals in solutions offered.
  • Contribute to documenting best practices, socialize scenarios that adversely impact performance and follow process guidelines. Participate in knowledge sharing, identify process gaps and assist on projects that improve the team’s overall performance.
