We are looking for an experienced marketer to manage our commercial PC marketing in Australia. You will be responsible for all Commercial segments (including SMB, Enterprise, Government & Education) reporting to the Head of PC Marketing for Australia.
With the ability to balance insight lead strategic planning with fast-paced execution, you will focus on the customer journey and delivering best-in-class creative marketing that differentiates the HP brand, excites customers and drives demand through the purchase funnel. You will be responsible for the design and development of B2B brand and product marketing and communications activities, metrics and measurement, managing priorities and execution of workflow across Australia. A proven track record of driving innovative marketing programs combined with the mind-set to drive impact will enable you to propel the HP brand and business to new heights.

You need to be a team player and leader - pulling together product, channel, PR/Communications and media/analytics to ensure you develop robust end to end initiatives that deliver across the customer journey and deliver business results. You’ll need to be a thought builder, on top of the business, reporting regularly to a wide range of stakeholders from local country up to Global. Your passion to innovate and design marketing strategies and plans delivering to the right audience at the right time, will require you to be on top of local competitive, marketing, technology and industry dynamics. Your strategic knowledge provides you with the experience to take on the role as brand steward and guardian across Australia. A great networker and partner, you’ll have to establish and maintain key vendor partnerships (Alliance partners, Agency, Media tech vendors).

You will also have responsibility for the following:-

  • Strategic Planning – assist in planning the commercial marketing calendar across campaigns, sponsorships, events, digital and internal.
  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns – develop & deploy fully integrated commercial marketing campaigns acting as the central coordination point across PR, Corp Comms, Channel Marketing, Category, digital, social and lead generation
  • Budget Management – ensure campaigns are delivered according to set budgets across opex and alliance funding types
  • Digital Planning & Execution - conceptualizing, scoping and managing digital marketing across online, mobile and social platforms
  • Production – manage internal & external resources to adapt global creative & generate Australian local creative across TV, print, OOH, digital, social & SEM
  • Agency Management – lead a cross-functional agency team for each campaign ensuring open commutation flow and issues resolution
  • Brand Guardianship – protect and enhance the HP brand using global brand guidelines and assess all work to ensure compliance
  • Reporting & Analytics – work with a range of local and regional experts to critically analyze outcomes and provide recommendations for optimization of campaign activity

What do you need to win in this role?

  • Hands-on B2B marketing experience with an in-depth understanding of both Direct and Indirect sales channels
  • Experience designing campaigns based on local insights to develop creative territories, creative propositions and end-to-end campaign implementation
  • Understanding marketing impact analysis to ensure all activities can be tracked and ROI understood
  • Knowledge of lead generation and pipeline development
  • High degree of B2B digital experience (media, social, CRM and content development)
  • Can demonstrate real examples of great work done in the past including campaigns and their impact on brand and sales
