Job Description

We believe design can be the competitive advantage for a company. We've set out to build the future of live events, and we want that future to be elegantly simple and easy to use.

We’re looking for an experienced, empathetic, and detail oriented designer to help our SeatGeek Enterprise partners sell more tickets and provide a better fan experience. These partners include the Dallas Cowboys, New Orleans Pelicans, and the Seattle Sounders, among others. We are more excited than ever about the opportunities ahead, and are looking for passionate designers to help us push forward these initiatives.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the 6th member of the product design team and the design leader for one of our five core product areas. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team to help create and execute on a strategy that pushes forward both user and business goals, as well as work with the design team to make sure we’re creating a consistent, delightful and high quality experience across the entire fan journey.

  • Shape the direction of upcoming projects by exploring concepts and creating prototypes
  • Craft simple and elegant solutions for ongoing projects
  • Contribute to our style guide to provide a consistent look and feel across our apps
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to bring new ideas to life

Who You Are

  • You have 5+ years of product design experience
  • You have 4+ hours of overlap with a 10am-6pm EDT workday (US East Coast)
  • You have experience working on a distributed team
  • You value lifelong learning and are always looking for new ways to learn and grow
  • You are obsessed with the details; so much that your friends think you’re crazy
  • You love working on large-scale software that a lot of people use
  • You enjoy being challenged and see constraints as an opportunity to flex your creativity
  • You advocate for the user, but also make sure projects are aligned with business goals

Job Perks

  • A laid-back, fun workplace designed to encourage collaboration and company wide events
  • $120/mo to spend on tickets to live events
  • A focus on transparency. We have regular team lunches and Q&A panels where employees can chat openly with teams across SeatGeek, our co-founders, and external guests from the industry
  • Annual subscriptions to Citibike, Spotify, and meditation services
