The team
Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across DocuSign. The team consists of Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Revenue Operations, Investor Relations, and Business Operations. The Finance team partners across all organizations in DocuSign to appropriately allocate resources, inform key business decisions, and facilitate the execution of our operational plans.

This position
As part of the Sales Finance team, this person will be responsible for forecasting Global Commissions expense across all booking generating teams. This person will also be the finance business partner to the Sales Operation and Sales Support teams. The individual will be responsible for performing financial analysis and modeling, designing and preparing financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial information to management.

This position reports to the Director of North America Sales Finance.

Responsibilities

Own the Global Commissions forecasting inclusive of modeling and variance analysis, while partnering with the respective FP&A, Sales Operations, and Sales Compensation teams
Lead Sales Operation and Sales Support business partners in building monthly, quarterly, and annual budget plans
Support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end corporate reporting requirements
Create presentations and reports to inform senior leadership on the financial performance of their teams and provide guidance on near-term and long-term opportunities and risk
Partner with the broader Go-To-Market Finance team on insight analyses, process improvements, and financial modeling

Basic Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, or related field
3+ years of experience in finance with emphasis on budgeting, forecasting, planning, analysis, and modeling
FP&A experience at a publicly-traded company
Fundamental understanding of Subscription-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model
Proficient in Excel and PC
Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of sales compensation plans and quotas
High degree of analytical and problem-solving capability
Ability to work independently and balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Experience with Adaptive and NetSuite or other large well-known ERP / accounting systems
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization

Proficient verbal and written communication skills
