Finance & Commercial Operations Analyst - P&G team

ABOUT THIS JOB

This role will partner with Nielsen PG commercial team and Client Purchasing team to provide support on commercial and finance matters from billing, Purchase Orders, payments, contract renewal (called Purchase Plan process on client side).

The primary objective is to support and drive commercial efficiency between PG and Nielsen teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Active support during annual Client Contract renewal process (ongoing contracts price submissions, cost proposals for a new scope, changes in the current scope, submission of penalties for canceled contracts)
• Daily connect with Nielsen finance teams, contributing to a quick resolution of outstanding invoices issues
• Trouble-shoot and resolve client inquiries related to invoices, POS, payments, commercial details on the going contracts: assist with pricing, scope, contracts requests
• Co-partner with Nielsen finance teams on the whole process from order to invoice and payment to make sure First Time Right Invoice Client targets are met
• Continue to broaden knowledge of client business issues and needs, of Nielsen services and the broader industry
• Day-to-day support to Nielsen commercial teams on any finance & commercial matter including client proposals (knowledge and daily use of client commercial tools: CRC, Supplier Portal, Coupa, Aravo)
• Build effective relationships with client Purchasing Team Representatives
• Identify sales opportunities at the client and pass it to CBPs
• Facilitating negotiations with client Purchasing teams

QUALIFICATIONS

• Min. high school degree or higher
• Strong analytical mind and excellent numerical skills
• 3 years of experience in Commercial Finance/ Marketing/ Finance Operations would be an advantage
• Familiar with general Financials & Billing processes (invoices, POs, payments)
• Business English knowledge, both verbal and written
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with working in a digitally enabled environment
• Ability to work within a virtual environment, and with client deadlines
• Time management & Self-organizational skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Google Sheets/Slides
• Overall understanding of marketing services
• Negotiation skills and good business acumen
