Job Description
Based in Berlin, you will be leading the Energy Marketing efforts as part of the bigger Influencer Marketing team. The aim of this role is to deliver meaningful, strategic, and unexpected brand experiences with creative innovators in the Berlin & Central region. This person is the lead liaison between the Nike Brand and the Creative Industry, focussing on innovators from Art, Design, Fashion & Streetwear. The role drives the NikeLab category business enhancing the Nike brand equity and creating demand for Nike pinnacle products within innovators and early adopting consumers.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategic Planning:
- You will lead the Energy Marketing Team in the Central territory (Berlin, German speaking markets and Central Europe).
- Lead the functional development & strategic execution of energy marketing plans supporting the territory objectives.
- Establish tangible business objectives and monitor results on territory level.
- Manage the Energy Marketing Central team to develop, maintain, and deepen new & existing relationships with key industry influencers. Seek, Bond and Service.
- Work strategically with Category & Functional Brand Managers to support territory brand plan and enhance executions utilizing Industry relationships.
- Ability to utilize Industry relationships and turn them into meaningful projects that drive demand for the Nike brand.
- Be the lead informer and communicator on all details, decision-making and progress related to Energy Marketing efforts.
- Lead functional event execution and evaluation to ensure functional excellence.
- Exude passion for sport, the Nike Brand and its product. Be an ambassador of the brand.
Consumer Connectivity:
- Lead consumer connectivity and concept development. Lead the process to gain insight from our network/early adopters in every aspect to generate relevant campaigns, stories, and products in a smart, relevant, and impactful way.
- Identify cultural trends and lead the full consumer deep dive in Berlin.
Qualifications- At least 5 years of experience in brand marketing including experience in community management
- You have proven track record of building impactful, world class creative brand executions that connect with audiences and break through the cultural zeitgeist
- You love the world of sports & culture and have deep knowledge of the cultural landscape and trends in Berlin and beyond
- You are an outside the box thinker, rather than following existing frameworks and methodologies you keep pushing the envelop and approach things differently always focus what is best for business
- You are a natural leader with an ability to build strategic foundations, conceptualize campaign approaches and articulate creative ideas that rally people around you
- Fluency in English, written and verbal
