Provides continuity of Boeing customer support presence for airline operators and maintenance providers located in Brazil. The Field Service Associate (FSA) presents the initial professional contact for customers and Boeing personnel visiting the Field Service Office.
Performs coordination for Boeing visitors covering transportation, meetings and customer contacts and therefore will require the ability to learn the customers’ organizations and personnel. Works with and assists the Field Service Representative(s) (FSR) assigned to the base. The FSA and FSR work as a team to ensure the office operates and complies with all Boeing and Field Service procedures, including budgeting and accounting of expenses.

The following is a list of responsibilities typically performed:

  • Distribution of technical communications to the customers as necessary
  • Update Outlook contacts for Field Service group mailboxes
  • Monitor customer fleets and update Boeing database as necessary
  • Keep track of customer reliability reports sent to Boeing Reliability Group
  • Provide support in booking travel arrangements and prepare expense reports
  • Prepare payment request forms for local expenses. E.g. office phone bills, equipment/supplies and forward original invoices/documents to Boeing corporate office in Brazil
  • Prepare “away from base” message for FSRs and complete “out of office” calendar
  • Track “5-S” status and manage/update 5-S documents
  • Keep the Field Office inSite page up to date by editing pages and attachments
  • Attend non-technical meetings for FSRs whenever they are unavailable
  • Update Field Service manuals as necessary
  • Receive and process office mail
  • Assist Boeing visitors by arranging hotel, transportation, meetings with the customer and access to Airline temporary parking lot for service providers e.g. Boeing Brazil IT or HR.
  • Order new/replacement or arrange repair office mobile devices through Boeing Brazil
  • Order office equipment/miscellaneous supplies thru Boeing Brazil or local suppliers
  • Manage office maintenance/repairs thru Airline contracted vendor or Boeing Brazil
  • Manage security issues worked thru Airline Emergency/Security Team and Airline Building Maintenance

As this position is primarily customer support, the applicant must be resourceful and have an attitude of helpfulness. Communication and presentation skills are essential. The work location is: Congonhas airport, São Paulo, Brazil. Work hours are generally Monday to Friday - 8 hours per day with some off-hours work required.

Qualifications - College degree desired, but experience can compensate

The person:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Knowledge of basic computer systems and software tools such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Power-Point are highly desirable to perform the job.

The requisition is for an international locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Brazil.
