AsFinancial Reporting & Technical Accountant, you will work closely with the accounting and finance team to help establish best-in-class financial reporting and technical accounting workflows within a fast-paced environment and deliver timely internal and external reporting in accordance with US GAAP. You will report to the Senior Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual GAAP balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement and statement of shareholders’ equity
• Participate in and lead key month-end closure requirements
• Prepare and maintain calendar of recurring reporting requirements, including internal and external reporting
• Prepare external investor reporting and coordinate with investors on subsequent information requests
• Act as primary lead on ad hoc reporting requirements
• Develop best practices processes and controls around financial reporting, incorporating them into the day to day processes
• Invest in process and system changes needed to support changing reporting requirements
• Navigate challenging technical accounting issues; advise on complex transactions, interpret new accounting standards
• Coordinate with external auditors to deliver timely financial statements, including planning documents, and to support interim reviews
• Prepare GAAP compliance checklists
• Prepare and manage footnote disclosures

What We Value

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA
• Minimum of 5 years of experience
• Background with Big 4 accounting firm and relevant financial reporting experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to be flexible and resourceful in response to changing priorities and needs
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong knowledge of key accounting concepts, US GAAP
• Customer service oriented, especially for internal teams
• Mission-driven, enthusiastic to learn and grow; team-oriented with a positive attitude
