Our Social Project Managers partner with strategy and account leaders to deliver operational discipline, delivery excellence and speed to market for their clients. They should be a capable professional able to handle a broad variety of tasks with increasing independence and sound judgment. They are problem solvers and trusted to build relationships across Ogilvy’s vast resources and capabilities. Additionally, they are passionate about social media marketing and creating fast-moving and culturally relevant campaigns.
• Ensures social media teams are organized, on process, on budget and on time.
• Liaison between public relations and social media strategists ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Liaison between creative teams social media strategists ensuring clear communication and alignment
• Manages the social media content development process from ideation through to deployment
• Day-to-day project contact with lower level social media clients and other agency partner (influencers or media agency, for example), aligning closely with client lead
• Input on staffing and scoping documents
• Assistance with workflow system data entry and reporting
• Recognizes shifting scoping needs and elevates to account leads
• Assists with implements social media campaigns, such as influencer relationship management or social event activation
• Contributes to the development and presentation of new business programs for potential and existing social media clients
• Researches and communicates social media trends
• 2-4 years of agency experience (preferably public relations or social media agency) managing “the making” or delivery of great social media work
• Proven ability to effectively communicate with teams to set priorities, ensure that project milestones and budget expectations are met
• Proven ability to organize and drive clear process with integrated teams, detail-oriented
• Passionate about creating ground-breaking creative work in the social media space
• Strategic thinker, able to understand a client’s desired outcomes and suggest plans that will help achieve the desired result
• Demonstrates strong commercial abilities and business and financial acumen
• Dependable and trusted team member
• Embraces the "new," always curious to learn more and develop new skills
• Natural and effective collaborator
