Job Description
Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. Affirm is looking for a passionate integrated marketing manager to lead cross-channel campaigns with a strong focus on co-marketing — partnering with our most important merchants to deliver incremental value. Responsibilities will include leading brand, seasonal and comprehension-based campaigns. In addition, the successful candidate will develop co-marketing campaigns aligned with both Affirm and partner marketing goals and objectives. The position will work closely with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing and Client Success to plan, execute and deliver impactful campaigns intended to drive new user acquisition, repeat usage and total loan origination. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable thinking across several different categories including travel, home and lifestyle, fashion and omnichannel retail. Co-marketing represents the most important component of this position. Deep experience working with partners to co-develop plans and launch marketing programs across multiple media channels is an absolute must. In addition, an ability to work with several partners at once to develop a fully integrated campaign is important. The position will also work closely with the Brand design and Content teams to create and develop campaign creative and content assets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the marketing campaign development process for seasonal campaigns, promotions, retail, and more from initial kickoff to completion, working with a cross-functional leaders across Product Marketing, Growth, Customer Success and Communications.
- Help identify campaign targets driven by business goals focused on new users, engagement and loan origination.
- Manage the annual, comprehensive co-marketing calendar with major accounts, partnering closely with Client Success. Ensure budget spends align with overall campaign development and objectives.
- Provide creative briefs to the Design and Content teams to develop campaign creative.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- 5-10 years experience building integrated marketing plans.
- Strategic thinker; collaborative mindset; self-starter attitude.
- Strong co-marketing experience; ability to productively work with partners.
- Experience working with online retail, merchandising, acquiring consumers.
- Understanding of cross-media strategy, planning and measurement.
- Experience writing creative briefs, testing creative and adapting based on insights.
- Background using both brand and performance analytics to continuously optimize.
