Who You Are

A Senior Project Manager with day-to-day responsibility of working with Business, Technical Leads, Architects, QA and team Leads to ensure projects are successfully planned and controlled including transformation management through defined measurements of success; Includes management of project budget, resource requirements and project schedule to meet product feature/functionality requirements and quality standards. Leads internal efforts and those of third party/partners. Maintains and tracks scheduled events and project/program achievements.

• 8+ years of experience in leading complex software development applications which include build, test and deploy

What you’ll do:

• Initiate and define the project (e.g. conduct needs analysis, establish vision and high level strategy for project implementation, link to organization and company goals and strategies)
• Develops and presents proposals and final agreements. Influences the customer in the assessment, planning and management of related projects
• Creates and Leads schedules for large multi-functional projects
• Leads large/complex internal and external customer facing projects or multiple projects or takes a business management role in an account or group of accounts, or a group of ongoing sustaining projects.
• Handle project delivery process, scope, and costs product development projects. Drive completion of the project and resolution of project issues
• Lead client funded and internal projects/programs within Cisco as well as manage contractors. Run partner relationships and develop and execute communication plan.
• Lead change by identifying impacts of the business, building awareness and support for change within the organization, and supplying to development of training
• Evaluate project results against success metrics. Recommend changes to processes, resources, and solutions to gain productivity and/or improve end product
• Works with the Company’s Program Management Community to further develop the PM/ PGM role, methodology, processes and operations
• Reporting out regularly to the partners on the project status and tailoring the details of the reporting to the audience
• Ensuring all projects are handled for ISO compliancy

Desired Skills

Mandatory

• BS/BE or MIS/CIS degree and 8+ years of Project/Program Management Experience
• PMP Certification is a plus
• Highly proficient with Microsoft: Project and/or Smartsheet, Power Point and Excel
• Proficient with Visio or a related tool
• In depth knowledge with defect management systems for example: Jira or Rally
• Full understanding of ISO9001 / ISO27001
• Working knowledge of Customer Data Protection Requirements
• Working knowledge of Agile and Continuous Integration DLCs
• Work onsite with local team for day to day interactions, removing roadblocks and moving program status forward to meet results in an ISO compliant manner
