Our responsibilities include all aspects of eBay’s business in the EMEA region including eBay’s operations in major European markets -- UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain -- as well as driving growth in emerging markets such as Turkey.

For our team in Dreilinden/Berlin, we are looking for a:

Marketing Specialist eMail & Push Notification (f/m/d)

- fixed term contract for 2 years -

Our ambition as eBay is to build the world’s best marketing platform to drive relevant buyer engagement at scale. As marketing specialist, you will be responsible for our push channels (email, notifications) and have direct impact on growing and retaining our customer base via push notifications and emails.

Your job is to plan, execute and improve our local marketing campaigns for our push channels email and mobile notifications. You have the unique opportunity to grow both channels and improve the buyer funnel by delivering strong and relevant messages to our customers.

Within your role you work with multiple teams including local campaign managers, global product owners and external marketing agencies. You are a good communicator, creative thinker and hands-on executer.

We are looking for motivated colleague, who is eager to learn and have some fun along the way, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You will:

  • Work closely with the Business Units and Campaign Managers to deliver a strong communication plan for both channels to increase customer engagement
  • Brief agencies and ensure high customer relevance and creative quality
  • Optimize relevancy for our customers by applying various targeting segments using all technical capabilities
  • Execute and schedule campaigns in high quality including testing and monitoring
  • Reporting and testing in order to ultimately optimize campaign and channel performance

You are:

  • Organized and able to work quickly, yet with an eye for details – even under time pressure
  • Independent and creative problem solver, who is passionate about enhancing the user experience
  • Strong in collaboration and coordinating multiple teams within a broad set of different projects
  • Able to work both independently and in a team, collaborative environment is essential
  • A Self-starter with plenty of initiative and drive

You Have:

  • Graduate degree (Bachelor or Master)
  • first experience in online marketing (1-2 years)
  • Skills in the use of Excel, Powerpoint and Word
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and German
