Senior Product Designer, Lumedic

Lumedic, an affiliate of Providence St. Joseph Health (PSJH), is in need of a Senior Product Designer to help define and execute a company-wide visual design system spanning application UI/UX, website and corporate identity, conceptual storytelling, and creative shared services. As a healthcare IT start-up, communication of our corporate vision is as important as daily design execution in the products we're building and putting into market. We need a motivated creative professional to champion both.

Responsibilities for the position include:

Product

• UI/UX design from research to wireframing to mockups to engineering handoff
• Responsible for the end-to-end user experience across growing product suite
• User persona definition across healthcare landscape
• User interviews, process mapping, requirements gathering to support product team
• User Journey mapping, help define voice of the customer

Visual Language

• Define, create & maintain Lumedic's visual design system
• Style guide, infographics, motion graphic explainer videos

Storytelling

• Drive and maintain consistency in our visual storytelling between website, visuals, presentations, and media assets

Success in the role will be highly dependent on candidate's ability to self-manage based on general direction from both Product and Business teams. Further, a genuine interest and optimism for positively affecting change in the US healthcare system is a must! Position will report to the Chief Product Officer.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of workplace experience, education and/or training is required.
• 5 years’ experience in a leadership role with emphasis in web and mobile experience design.

• Prototyping, animation, or coding experience
