Job Description

Sony PlayStation Brazil is looking to hire a Services Product Manager in our Sao Paulo office. This role will work to create the World’s most vibrant, compelling interactive entertainment community and also create, Share emotions by driving and enabling the connected, interactive Sony Interactive Entertainment experience. This role reports directly to the Marketing Manager of PlayStation Brazil.

Objectives of this role:

  • Lead local marketing and business development efforts for all digital services, including:
    PlayStation Store
    PlayStation Plus
    Non-gaming services
    Digital at Retail
  • Put together the strategy that will allow the company to reach designated objectives in these areas:
    PS Store >> Transacting Accounts (PS4 Game Content), ARPPU
    PS Plus >> Attach Rate to Connected PS4 (Acquisition/Retention/Reclamation), Engagement metrics
    Non-gaming services >> Manage portfolio of top-of-class and locally relevant services and develop co-marketing engagement activities (that can also help feed PS Plus)

Primary Tasks

  • Leads the local information flow and communication campaigns regarding all services handled – PS Plus, PS Store, Non-Gaming area.
  • Leads marketing activity around the PlayStation Store, the brand's e-commerce platform - managing a tightly-controlled budget to ensure our campaigns obtain the best ROI from social media, CRM, programmatic and impact display creatives;
  • Drives PlayStation Plus - the company's subscription service for online gaming, creating extra value for our millions of members through locally-led loyalty and eSports programs, while devising and implementing campaigns on a variety of media to make sure our acquisition, retention and reactivation targets are met, across our online and retail (pre-paid cards) distribution channels;
  • Liaises with 3rd party video service partners such as Netflix, HBO, Spotify and DAZN for implementation of those services on PlayStation consoles, communication of their content across brand channels and co-marketing campaigns generating win-win situations;
  • Manages relationships and information sharing across the local and Central PlayStation teams, including best practice and improvement activities
  • Coordination, info and budget management with teams at creative, media-buying and other agencies.
  • Identifies and pursues new areas of business that can benefit the company (payment channels for PS Store, distribution channels for PSN voucher product, etc).

Requirements

• Expert in Digital Marketing – tech-savvy, knowledgeable and always on top of formats, trends, metrics, etc.
• 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing at a top tier company or agency
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field
• Experience with conventional ATL marketing is a plus (TV, Print, Outdoor, etc).
• Experience in managing lifecycle of large-scale communities.
• Makes decisions based on data, and with a focus on achieving company KPIs.
• Self-motivated, highly organized individual, able to juggle several projects simultaneously and under pressure.
• Possesses great common sense – will be faced with situations for which there are no created processes, potentially things no one has done before, and will need to think on their feet.
• Passionate entertainment marketer (games, movies, music)
• Plans and executes with extreme attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills – able to present effectively to all audience types and sizes
• Able to transmit knowledge to the team.
• Team player, considers the impact their actions will have not only on their products, but how they affect the rest of the company’s portfolio as well.
• Naturally curious, and eager to try and test new things
