What you'll be doing...
As the Sales Manager for the Commercial LATAM (Spanish Speaking) Sales team, you will be an extraordinary sales manager and a company leader. With your vision and practical experience, you will lead your team to penetrate net new accounts and expand deployments across existing client base for Tableau Software. You would be responsible for managing the Commercial LATAM (Spanish Speaking) Sales team and working to ensure we grow our revenue and hit team quota targets.
Some of the things you’ll be doing include ...
- Revenue responsibility: For an assigned region in Tableau’s LATAM territory
- Team management: Recruiting, hiring, training, daily management, KPI and Metrics reviews
- Operational efficiency and process development for highly transactional inside sales team
- Bring knowledge of commercial accounts negotiations to your team and offer insight into sales process
- Drive the growth of international new-business sales and transactions by preparing the team to effectively qualify opportunities, conduct product demonstrations and presentations, and close the initial sale.
- Accelerate the ramp time of new hires by providing sales, industry, software and process training
- Develop the individuals on the team through call-shadowing with immediate feedback, as well as ongoing 1:1 coaching
- Tight management of team’s pipeline to ensure accurate revenue forecasting
- Actively participate in the sales cycle to bring leadership as needed.
- Oversight of leads and pipeline management in CRM system
- Tracking and reporting of sales metrics using Tableau
- This role will be based out of our Austin, Texas office
Who you are ...
- Experienced. 3+ years in software or technology sales with one or more years’ experience in sales team leadership
- Amazing Salesperson. You have a desire, even an obsession, to bring / expand customers into the Tableau franchise and maximize revenue. You have the ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline with a proven track record of handling and closing a large number of transactions simultaneously .

- Cross-Cultural . You enjoy the opportunity to travel abroad and have experience relating to customers from a variety of Latin American countries and cultures. Fluency in English and Spanish required. Fluency in Portuguese a plus.
