Job Description

We are looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to join Snap Inc! Working from our Amsterdam office, this person will have an equally operational and creative background to develop and run programs that improve Marketing’s ability to create value for its stakeholders in the region. Working alongside cross functional and sales teams from the region and other international offices, you will plan, develop and execute internal and external programs that enables sales and drives incremental revenue for the business.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development of our Netherlands and Nordics marketing strategy and related programs that bring to life Snapchat's advertising solutions across key verticals
  • Amplify Snap’s audience and platform story by executing large scale events and smaller scale roadshows, at a high frequency, including marketing programs that drive ROI: industry events, marketing collateral, trade sponsorships, thought leadership, educational workshops, etc.
  • Design and deliver business marketing campaigns for the N&N markets, identifying all the relevant audiences, and prioritizing the right channels to reach them with the right message to persuade them
  • Develop positioning for Snapchat's business solutions that resonates within each key vertical industry
  • Produce corresponding deliverables (e.g., messaging documents, narratives, education programs, collateral, sales tools)
  • Work with cross-functional marketing teams to localize and bring to life premium B2B content, and expertise across Snapchat's marketing channels: global sales organization, Snapchat for Business website, Explore online learning, content marketing and advertising
  • Lead relationships with cross-functional teams in creative strategy, product marketing, vertical measurement + insights, scaled business marketing, data science and sales
  • Measure the effectiveness of Marketing activities and the ROI of its expenditures

Minimum qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in marketing or advertising, developing strategy, positioning and messaging including account planning, strategic planning, communications planning, product marketing or business strategy roles in advertising agencies or marketing organizations
  • Fluent in English and Dutch

Preferred qualifications:

  • Extensive understanding of the local market and industry, being able to differentiate and call out nuances that will feed the decision making process
  • Experience thinking creatively, communicating and presenting to large groups, and a deep proficiency in brand building
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to engage all levels of the organization
  • Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance, and to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Travel required for events as needed
