The organizing and engagement office provides the infrastructure and support for Team Policy Communication (PC) outreach and engagement. A robust team of organizers and practitioners, we ensure our best practices are piloted, tested and documented. We build a nimble infrastructure where necessary and joyfully become clients of business systems and tools where possible. We pick up special projects that aren’t roadmapped for local teams and adjust our priorities based on evolving campaign and business needs.

This role requires quantitative, detail-oriented, and excited about creating innovative, measurable campaigns to advance the goals of home sharing.

Responsibilities

• Offer marketing campaign analysis and expertise to local and regional Policy offices to optimize outreach focused on mobilizing the home sharing community to take action in support of fair and clear home sharing regulations.
• Review and provide feedback on content to stakeholders/teams supported to ensure messaging is clear, meaningful, and action-oriented.
• Manage the day-to-day email production, QA, and deployment process, collaborating with outsourced email production support (agency that works directly in Airbnb’s instance of Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and when appropriate, leverage internal tools to directly produce, QA, and deploy email campaigns.
• Ensure all email content is accurate, localized, and optimized.
• Execute email campaigns from start to finish while holding to strict deployment dates.
• Ensure SQL-based targeting and multi-touch campaigns incorporate engagement thresholds that maximize conversions and minimize marketing fatigue.

Skills

• 5+ years of relevant work experience running advocacy oriented email campaigns for political campaigns, organizations, and/or B2C marketing.
• Experience with email platforms and production environments with a strong preference toward expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Proven experience in execution of complex, multi-step emails.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML and CSS including responsive design.
• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge.
• Ability to work independently - must be a self-starter with a sense of humor and the ability to thrive in a fast moving, creative and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively and be a team player in a multi-task work environment, and produce the highest calibre work product under tight timelines.
• An innovative and creative approach to work, able to create and optimize internal processes that respond to ever-shifting objectives and challenges.
