About the Role

As the lead for Auto in Chennai you will help us fuel auto growth through improved execution of strategy, driver engagement activities, and win riders to gain positive favourability for the brand . You will program manage the overall growth strategy in our fastest growing category - Uber Auto.

• Work with the city operation teams to scale product specific supply while delivering service excellence and a consistently healthy marketplace balance
• Design and implement driver and rider incentives thereby delivering consistent earnings and maximising driver partner engagement
• Continuously collaborate with local and global product teams to proactively design and deliver new features that deliver a magical experience
• Develop & Optimize Processes: Take big picture ideas and break them into actionable steps with progressive timelines for completion.
• Be Resourceful and Take Initiative: Take ownership of the growth of high value products in your city and do everything you can to support and enhance the quality of our services
• Collaborate: You will have the backing of subject-matter experts who you will collaborate on a daily basis to make magic happen on the ground

• 3+ years of Strategy Consulting, banking or operations background, with previous experience using data to lead and support business decisions
• Previous experience in related industries and high value products is a big plus
• Excellent excel skills, strong SQL skills preferred
• Demonstrated record of leading initiatives and projects at your organization
• Ability to work together with teams across the country to implement the best answer for your city
• Ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment and adopt a generalist do-what-it-takes mindset
