Job Description
Zendesk is looking for a Product Marketing Associate, based in San Francisco, to help us scale the way that we launch emerging product features to our customers. In this role, you will plan and execute feature launches for our platform, analytics, and proactive engagement products, working closely with Product, Sales, and other marketing teams. Reporting to the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, this role will own our go to market efforts for upcoming feature launches and create compelling messaging and collateral that drives awareness and activation of new product capabilities amongst our customers. Roles and responsibilities:
- Plan and execute goal-driven feature launches for platform, analytics, and proactive engagement products, working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Sales
- Build compelling product demonstrations that visually illustrate the benefit that new Zendesk features bring to customers
- Create messaging that fits an audience and drives awareness, supported by a rationale for why, when, and how each feature should be used
- Work with Product Management to establish a continuous customer feedback loop to influence the product development roadmap
- Collaborate with Sales to understand & support ongoing enablement efforts that ensure sales teams are armed with the materials necessary to pitch new product features
- Develop compelling marketing and sales collateral for platform, analytics, and proactive engagement products
Must have:
- Interest in bringing new features to market and excited to tell compelling stories that drive customer engagement
- Enthusiasm and empathy for genuinely improving the way that businesses engage with their customers
- Willingness to have an early morning or late night now and then working cross-functionally with teams that span the entire globe
- Ability to start multiple initiatives at the same time and energetically pursues them Interest in learning the product marketing ropes and growing a career in product marketing
Nice to have:
- Background with customer engagement software
- Familiarity with common SaaS tools and practices
- Willingness to deal with obscure references and lame jokes
- Bachelors degree in Business or Information Systems, or other relevant fields
