Assistant Store Leader, Williamsburg

Job Description

We're opening our second store in New York and looking for entrepreneurial leaders to join the team. As Assistant Store Leader you will work directly with our leadership team to manage our shop team on a daily basis. The ideal candidate has extensive experience shift managing a high-volume retail store. In addition, you are entrepreneurial, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, work proactively and are a quick learner. This role will report directly to our Store Leader.

The Job

• Support Floor Leaders in meeting daily financial goals
• Ensure Everlane brand and mission are being represented constantly
• Coach Floor Leaders, identify learning opportunities, and create development plans
• Support Store Leader in Larger scale initiatives + operations
• Drive excellence in customer experience
• Own financial reporting and weekly updates
• Participate in visual merchandising and coach on store standards
• On-board and train teams
• Recruit to fill positions with highly motivated and exceptional candidates
• Conceptualize innovative projects and work with Store Leader to execute

The Qualification

• 2+ years managerial experience in a retail setting
• Emphasis on operations or store management is a plus
• Action oriented, driving for results
• Ability to motivate others and build effective teams
• Skilled at mediating and negotiating to resolve conflict
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Knows how to have fun and boost positive vibes
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
• Already a fan of the Everlane spirit
