Finance Operations Associate

Help us run and improve our Finance in Europe. The opportunity:

We're looking for an awesome individual to join our Amsterdam office as a Finance Operations Associate. You will be part of our global Finance and Accounting Team which collaborates as a strategic partner to clients, partners and all internal departments. It’s a hands-on role where the successful candidate will be responsible for running and continuously improving our local finance processes (AP, month-end accounting process, tax calculations and filings, etc) to support our rapid growth and operations in EMEA.

You will:

• You run daily payments processes and follow-ups with external partners and vendors
• You support in-house operations teams for all billing and payments related questions
• You own and optimize the accounts payable process (incl. vendor disputes)
• You establish month-end accounting processes (cash reconciliations, journal entries)
• You facilitate month-end cost allocations
• You support with cross-country VAT filings
• You run ad-hoc projects from various fields called Finance.

You should have:

• You have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related discipline required
• You have 1+ years of experience, preferably in an Accounting or Bookkeeping role
• You have the ability to apply technical accounting concepts in accordance with US and Dutch GAAP
• You have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• You show next-level attention to detail and demonstrated success in follow-through
• You are focused on continuous improvements. Seeing something broken - fix it!
• You are great at working independently
• You have advanced Excel skills.
