Part Time Registered Nurse to join our Wound and Ostomy Team.
WORK SCHEDULE Part time / 75% FTE
3x10 shift schedule
Day shifts
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide nursing care for inpatient and outpatient ostomy patients
Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients presenting with a broad spectrum of wounds, including surgical, neuropathic, venous, arterial, pressure injuries, and other wounds reflecting underlying diseases
Provide pre-operative assessment and education of ostomy patients in the outpatient setting
Provide post-operative ostomy management in the inpatient and outpatient setting
Enhance the patient and nurse experience across the care continuum, in close partnership with Surgical Physician colleagues
Systematically assess the need and delivery of nursing services that meet patient care requirements, whether delivered directly or by the other nursing staff
Integrate patient and family education into the delivery of care
Assume responsibility for continued professional growth and sharing expertise with other team members
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Recent wound and ostomy nursing experience
At least 3 years of hospital nursing experience
Active BLS
Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
