About the role

The Ad Contract Solutions & Policy Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing terms and conditions of contracts, agreements, and policies within the organization. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication & negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various key stakeholders to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. The role is located in Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY, Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, or Boston, MA and will report into the current Senior Manager of Ad Contract Solutions & Policy.

Join a rapidly growing Ad Contract Solutions & Policy Team that is critical to the success of Ad Sales’ revenue generation for Roku.

What you’ll be doing

  • Review, negotiate, and draft terms and conditions for insertion orders, contracts, agreements, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all contractual and policy matters.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to resolve complex legal issues related to terms and conditions.
  • Identify and mitigate risk associated with contractual and policy matters.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal departments on contractual and policy matters.
  • Manager relationships with internal cross functional teams as well as external clients and partners.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders such are Product Marketing, Client Services, Legal, Finance and others to establish new business rules and policies.

We’re excited if you have

  • 5+ years’ experience in contract management & negotiation.
  • 5+ years’ experience working in Salesforce.com.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Media.
  • IAB 3.0 Terms & Conditions experience required.
  • Contract negation experience with a track record of executing deals.
  • High attention to detail with extensive knowledge on the function, purpose and risk of key legal and business terms.
  • Ability to make unpopular decisions, when it is the right thing to do, and have the character necessary to defend those decisions in an eloquent yet sensible way with the Sales team.
  • Solutions oriented and problem solving.
  • Advanced Salesforce user.
  • Familiarity with agency/client side buying operations (i.e. Prisma).
  • Ability to track changes and redline documents.
  • Excellent communicator and instructor.
  • Can work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, legal, finance as well as other internal teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Passionate about OTT, the future of television, and streaming
